Domestic Comfort

During the process of this piece I've had talks on what I like about age gap relationships after seeing people point out the gay tension between two Until Dawn 2 characters from the trailer. And then at random points I've gotten texts from guys in my city interested in me. One of them advertising himself as an older guy who is into gaming and interested in me. Sounds right up my alley judging by my profile right? But then he added that recently he is into trans people and on his profile it's marked his sexual orientation as "straight"...

So now I'm longing for whatever scenario this piece has even more so. An actual safe space between an older queer cis guy and a younger trans guy. Especially after getting a huge reminder of how much trans people are fetishized. And I don't kink shame. I'm the last person who should kink shame. BUT... If the kink is my identity. I'd rather not. And I will start shaming.

Either way. The context for this piece in particular is that I've made the usual bug anthro couple into humans! The bugs are their bugsonas and VR avatars. I call them Seek (guy in the tub) and Pik (ginger), based off of parts of their usernames. They met on VRchat and became inseparable. They started off as a long distance relationship and one day Seek gifted Pik's now VR avatar model as a birthday gift. They started to visit each other as often as possible after a year of dating until one day they moved in and living the gayest domestic life. Something that truthfully, I really yearn for. And I like the dynamic I have created here. The deep loving and respect for one another and neither of them having true power over the other. They're both grown adults just have bit of an age gap. Between two adult queer people with enough similar interests, respect and no actual toxic power imbalance I think there's nothing wrong with an age difference. Some internet teenagers have started calling even that weird.
