A sculpture for a modelling class with a model that we were allowed to modify ourselves however we wished. That turned into this faceless like being sitting politely in silence. Vaguely inspired by I have no mouth and I must scream. Originally made in clay but later scanned in.

The sculpture itself reminded me of all the times I've had to stay quiet on certain topics or my own experiences and self expression due to various reasons. From being a closeted queer man to my opinions and experiences I don't or can't have others know about. Sometimes it's even painful to not be completely honest and tell everything about my life to my family as I wish to... Tired of staying silent and putting on a mask. Keeping quiet and secrets is tiring.
