A sculpture made without any models other than a pose reference of my father. At first this sculpture was supposed to be based off of a former friend's character as a muse. But during the process of this sculpture we had a falling out and haven't talked since. Making me discouraged to continue this, feeling like I've just gone through a whole break up from a wonderful connecting friendship.

But in the end rather than any specific character it's now more of a muse of the typical archetype character I tend to create and a representation of a fat man, just living his life despite having an arm missing. Casual existence. No pain. No suffering. No overjoy. Of being a disabled person. Just contentness. I also kept this in clay form to leave it in its raw state rather than try to change it by putting it in the oven or making a mould out of it. Being content with what there already is.

This sculpture was also featured in the exhibit "Every Person is Broken into Pieces" in ARS
